Human Resource Management and Development in a Global Context This module is designed to prepare students to undertake the role of a HR manager in an international context. To enable you to do this, you will examine the changing nature of organisations in a global context, and the debates around whether HR policy and practice is becoming truly global or whether national and cultural.
In addition, you will be eligible to apply for membership of the CIPD at either Associate or Chartered level. We meet the CIPD’s Advanced level criteria, so when you successfully complete the pathway you can apply for Associate, then Chartered, level membership, depending on your role and experience. Following successful completion of the Human Resource Management postgraduate diploma (or an equivalent course meeting CIPD requirements for the Advanced Level Diploma in HRM), you may be considered for direct entry to Human Resource Management MA with credit for up to five modules (100 credits) but will be required to complete 80 credits through the Research Methods in Human Resource.
CIPD Level 7 This advanced level, which can also award you with a postgraduate degree upon successful completion, requires not just some work experience but great writing and analytical skills. This can be done perfectly only when you know how to complete your internal assessment tasks assigned to you by your institute or instructor.
